Born from passion for trails, meaningful design and LLM's
RouteTee was founded on a simple belief: a go-to black t-shirt can be more than a corporate logo.
I lived in a black tee with just enough branding to nod at my love for mountain biking. I've always been obsessed with the clean, jagged lines of my rides on Strava, each one a little fingerprint. I'd priced it out before, but the dev budget wasn't there to convert those GPS lines into a t-shirt. Then AI coding tools (hello, Claude Code) started popping up on Reddit. I decided to actually build it, not just grab a snippet, but ship an app, one prompt and iteration at a time.
Seven weeks later, those messy prompts have become RouteTee: premium black tees printed with your route, your story.
A portion of proceeds supports trail maintenance and outdoor access
The more shirts we make, the more we give back to where it counts.
The routes we ride, run, hike, and drive connect us all. As RouteTee grows, we're committed to making a real impact by supporting trail development and maintenance—starting with the places our customers love most. When a city or region racks up the most shirts, we direct support to their local trail organizations—so the impact stays focused and meaningful.
Support the upkeep of the routes we rely on.
Help fund the creation of new access
Proceeds go where the most routes are ridden and worn.
"From your route to your tee, giving back with every step."
Upload your GPX file from Strava, Garmin, AllTrails and start creating a unique black t-shirt that celebrates your unique story.
